Being part of an industry in which event attendance is critical, in 2012 we built on our successful communication strategy to ensure clients were well informed of our auction sales in their areas. We also made significant improvements to our corporate website to provide existing and potential clients with resource material to help build confidence in the Federal Auction Service brand. The result was a steady increase in attendance at events through the first three quarters of 2012 and a record-breaking fourth quarter to end the year.
With growing event attendance, in 2013 we focused on ensuring our existing clients had the same great experience and efficiency they have come to expect from Federal Auction Service. At the same time, our staff did an exceptional job of welcoming new clients and making them comfortable by addressing questions and concerns promptly.
Beginning in 2012 and throughout 2013 we saw growth both in the number of buyers attending events and total sales revenues. We were also pleased to see products from new consignors were met with enthusiasm from our existing clients.
